Maria Morén’s experience and knowledge within the field of librarianship and information management is very diverse. She is Swedish, and her studies were finalised with a Masters Degree with research being conducted in Namibia and Africa, for which she received distinction.

Part of her degree involved accounting, which led her to her role working as a researcher at a financial training company in London, supplying and streamlining financial and business data for courses targeted at high-end fund managers. This gave her much exposure to the world of finance and very large corporations. For a change of pace, she worked as a school librarian at the Swedish School in London. Since coming to Australia, recent assignments have involved an online advertising company, conducting internet related research and mapping of behavioural patterns of internet users; research and contract administration to a software development and distribution company; and conducting internet research for Corporate Outcomes Group Ltd.

After this, Maria's interests returned to the area of corporate finance and governance. Working closely with Adrian Cran and Tim Richardson, she very quickly re-honed her early accounting abilities and undertook the accreditation course with the Australian Small Scale Offerings Board, where she was accredited.

Maria is currently involved in a number of capital raising assignments for emerging SME's and has been part of our team who have successfully raised capital in recent times.
