Adrian has been involved in the accounting/consulting profession since 1967 as a Chartered Accountant. He achieved senior status as a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and CPA Australia 30 years ago.

Adrian’s career has spanned taxation and audit, insolvency as a registered liquidator, management consulting, company directorships and company secretary. He has been general business advisor to clients in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America and in Asia. A large part of his career has been spent in corporate advisory services; capital raising, ASX/ASIC related matters, prospectuses, offer documents, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and the structuring of transactions.

Adrian gained his initial tertiary qualifications at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has continued his academic studies throughout his career, and continues to do so.

Adrian has been managing partner/director/CEO of the various practices he has established, acquired or merged. He has also undertaken many interim management assignments as CEO, CFO, general manager and company secretary. He continues to advise Boards of Directors of public and private companies.

This extensive experience, gained over 40 years in Australia and overseas in London, New York, Cleveland, Asia and New Zealand has involved a wide range of industries and diverse assignments.

Adrian is ideally qualified for his current role as Chief Corporate Advisor for Corporate Outcomes Group and for clients, as well as interim leadership positions. Also, many insolvency assignments involved “managing on” responsibilities. Either in interim management or other client roles, Adrian has been responsible for the management of millions of dollars of assets.

He is the consummate general business advisor or personal coach to emerging SMEs, entrepreneurs, start-up and established businesses - public, unlisted public, private, not-for-profit or Government. Adrian also has the track record of twelve successful entrepreneurial ventures in his own right.

Adrian served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Australian Military Forces in Australia and overseas including command, staff and training roles. He attended the Army Staff College and Joint Warfare College and was awarded the Reserve Forces Decoration. He also won the first Peter Stuckey Mitchell Trust Award for "Officers possessing qualities of leadership, self-reliance, initiative, academic ability and motivation".

Either working alone, as part of your team, or with a Corporate Outcomes Group team, Adrian is a can-do, will-do individual who has not only the depth, maturity, experience and focus to make it happen for clients, but he has actually "been there and done it" many times over.

• Practised as a Registered Company Auditor for 24 years, until retiring in April 2007
